What a wonderful way to start our Flower Club year!  Caroline Barnes (our treasurer) demonstrated a Pavé or Tapestry flower arrangement. Caroline showed us how to do a grouped design using different materials and  textures of flowers and foliage.  Caroline also showed us a contemporary design which she had made earlier.  We then enjoyed some delicious soup provided by a few of our members before we arranged our own designs.  This was a lovely social occasion where some of our newer members were able to get to know those more experienced.  Everyone had a productive lunchtime and went home happy with their designs.
