We had a lovely evening walking ‘Down the garden Path’ with three of our talented members who put on a beautiful display for us. Maureen Johnson began with a view into one of her borders. A continental design with a trellis background. Pauline Squirrell took a more traditional approach using a statue of a gardening boy taking flowers to his mistress for her to arrange,and another design using wooden crates. Lastly Vicki Hease took us on a walk to the orchard using lots of lovely foliage from her garden with foam free designs. Two using scrunched up chicken wire and one hand tied foliage arrangement. Di Balaam did an excellent job as compère for the evening, asking questions and keeping us amused. Finally thanks to all the ladies who helped in the kitchen, and to those who brought cakes.
