Christmas Open Meeting by Helen Hare

Helen Hare certainly entertained us with a large selection of different designs and introducing us to some new varieties of flowers and foliage, whilst also sharing with us various flower arranging  tips. It was a fabulous evening.

Congratulations to Maureen Carter and Jean Squirrell who received their forty years of service badges.

Congratulations also to Kate Ager for her role as Chairman. You are doing a great job!

We had a good attendance and many people started their Christmas shopping at the stalls, Hintlesham barn stall, delicious fudge by Yum Yum Fudge of Woolpit, Jams and Preserves by Jackie Brierley , craft stall by Jackie’s daughter from Hitcham and a lovely selection of wood crafts from Kevin the  Wood Man.

Many thanks to Di Balaam and Margaret Baker on the club sales stall and to Claire Ames and helpers on refreshments. Also thanks to everyone who brought in some delicious nibbles and to Kym Denny and Margaret Knock helping with the Raffle. Thanks to Ann Brunker and Terri Baker (our newest member to the committee) who were on the Pound Stall.

Lastly thanks to Carla Firman and Caroline Barnes  for manning the entrance and welcome to our lovely members and friends.
