On Tuesday 17th June 2026 Pauline Squirrel, Ann Ross, Jill Selby, Sue Fitzgerald and Julie Head were privileged in being asked to take part in a mini flower festival at Ely Cathedral as part of the Home and Garden Show. The title for the festival was the World in Bloom and we were asked to do a large scale exhibit depicting South America. Our stand comprised of some exotic plants to represent the rain forest , a wooden tower was constructed to represent Macchu Picchu with a trail of paving slabs to depict the Inca Trail, a painted roller blind was used as the Amazon and vibrant Flower arrangements to represent the Rio Carnival.
